DATE: November 20, 2024
LOCATION: Williams Arena at Minges Coliseum (Greenville, N.C.)
TIME: 11 a.m.

LAST TIMEOUT

HOWARD

Graduate guard Destiny Howell (Queens, N.Y.) was the only scorer to reach double figures, but her game-high 11 points were just enough to help the Bison (3-1) squeeze past Mount St. Mary's, 39-35, in a low-scoring affair at Knotts Arena.

EAST CAROLINA

ECU (2-2) is coming off a 95-44 road loss at No. 1 South Carolina (Nov. 17). In that game, junior forward Amiya Joyner poured in a game-high 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. It was two points off her career high (27) and was the 28th double-double of her career.

SERIES RECORD

This is the eighth meeting between the teams, dating back to 1984. Howard won the last meeting, 67-51, back in 2019 but the Pirates hold a 5-2 advantage.

THE COACHES

Howard is coached by Ty Grace (New Haven,'99), who is in her 10th season. ECU is coached Kim McNeill (Richmond, '00), who is in her sixth season.
