Delaware State (1-7, 0-1 MEAC) is coming off a 69-35 road defeat at South Carolina State (SCSU) Saturday (Oct. 26). It was the Hornets' sixth straight loss. DSU got 150 yards rushing and three TDs from Jaden Sutton, but the Hornets defense surrendered 631 yards of total offense to SCSU.
Howard (3-5 overall, 0-1 MEAC) dropped a 21-20 contest at Norfolk State (NSU) Saturday (Oct. 26). The Bison have lost two in a row. The Bison led NSU 10-0 and 20-14, but a 93-yard kick return and a late TD by the Spartans proved to be the difference. Redshirt sophomore
Ja'Shawn Scroggins (Las Vegas) led the attack with 11 carries for 109 yards and a TD and 159 yards passing a TD in a losing effort.
