WASHINGTON (October 31, 2024) – The Howard University women's volleyball team looks to stay with another pair of Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) matchups. HU is set to play Delaware State (DSU) Friday (Nov. 1) at 6 p.m. on the road. Two days later (Nov. 3), the Lady Bison hosts Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) at 1 p.m., inside Burr Gymnasium.

MATCHUP PREVIEW
HOWARD
HU (16-5, 9-0 MEAC) is riding a 10-match win streak, dating back to Sept. 29. Since the streak, Howard has lost only two sets, but remain unblemished during league play.
Junior outside hitter
Rya McKinnon (Hoover, Ala.) was awarded MEAC Player of the Week after totaling 27 kills and 15 digs in the Bison's previous matches against South Carolina State (Oct. 25) and North Carolina Central (Oct. 27).
Third-year Bison
Leah Reeves (Allen, Texas) once again claimed Setter of the Week after racking up 76 total assists against the Lady Bulldogs and Eagles.
Senior outside hitter
Dami Awojobi (Hempstead, N.Y.) took home the league's Defensive Player of the Week after totaling 19 kills, 13 digs, nine total blocks, and five service aces in their previous matches.
DELAWARE STATE
DSU (11-11, 7-2 MEAC) is looking to maintain momentum, winning six straight.
Martyna Kmuk collected 14 kills with a .684 hitting percentage in the Hornets' previous match against Coppin State (Oct. 25).
MARYLAND EASTERN SHORE
UMES (9-11, 4-5 MEAC) is looking to bounce back after its 3-0 loss to Coppin State (Oct. 27). Nkemjika Ikemefune recorded her sixth match with double-digit kills and Anis Dorlouis led the team with 18 assists and nine digs in their previous match.
LAST TIMEOUT
In their previous matches, the Bison took care of business with back-to-back sweeps versus South Carolina State (Oct. 25) and North Carolina Central (Oct. 27).
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
Howard is set to play Morgan State Friday (Nov. 8) at 6 p.m., on the road. Two days later (Nov. 10), the Lady Bison face Coppin State at 1 p.m., in Baltimore.
