WASHINGTON (October 3, 2024) – The Howard University women's volleyball team is set to host Delaware State University (DSU) Friday (Oct. 4) at 6 p.m., inside Burr Gymnasium. Sunday (Oct. 6), the Lady Bison travel to Princess Anne, Md., to battle Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) at 1 p.m.

HOWARD
HU (8-5, 2-0 MEAC) is looking to maintain momentum after winning a pair of conference matches against North Carolina University (NCCU) and South Carolina State University (SCSU).
Junior outside hitter
Rya McKinnon (Hoover, Ala.) continues to perform for the Bison, totaling 35 kills and 17 digs in the previous matches.
Senior middle blocker
Cimone Woodard (Missouri City, Texas) was a pivotal player for HU, tallying 19 kills in their previous matches.

Leah Reeves (Allen, Texas) was selected Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Setter of the Week.
DELAWARE STATE
Delaware State (5-10, 1-1 MEAC) is looking for another win after sweeping Morgan State (MSU) Sunday (Sep. 29).
Junior outside hitter Gerren Tomlin led DSU with a double-double (16 kills & 10 digs) against MSU.
MARYLAND EASTERN SHORE
Maryland Eastern Shore (6-7, 1-1 MEAC) is looking to bounce back after falling short, 2-3, in its match against Coppin State (CSU).
Junior outside hitter Nkemjika Ikemefuna led the Hawks with 21 kills versus CSU.
LAST TIMEOUT
In their previous matches, the Bison took care of business with back-to-back sweeps at North Carolina Central, 3-0 (Sep. 29) and South Carolina State, 3-0 (Sep. 30).
