WASHINGTON (October 15, 2024) – The Howard University men's soccer team is gearing up for an exciting match against No. 16 Duke Wednesday (Oct. 16) in Durham, N.C. The game will kickoff at 7 p.m., at Koskinen Stadium.

HOWARD
After a tough loss at Saint Francis (SFU) Sunday (Oct. 13), the Bison (1-6-3, 1-1-1 NEC) are looking to capitalize in their upcoming match at Duke.
Key players include All-NEC selection
Bryson Baker (Ellicott City, Md.), graduate
Jackson Lewis (Alexander, Va.) and rookie
Daniil Kaban (Kharkiv, Ukraine).
Redshirt goalie
Liam Keiller (Gaithersburg, Md.) holds the 17
th spot in the nation with 48 total saves.
DUKE
The Blue Devils (5-2-4, 2-1-3 ACC) will be looking to bounce back from their previous tie to rival Wake Forest Saturday (Oct. 12).
Duke is known for its strong soccer program and will pose a significant challenge for the Bison. The Blue Devils are consistently competitive in their conference and are expected to bring a high level of intensity to the match.
The Blue Devils are projected to finish fifth in the ACC, led by head coach John Kerr in his 16
th season at Duke.
LAST TIMEOUT
Sunday (Oct. 13), the team returned from a week off but struggled to find their footing, losing 3-0 to Northeast Conference (NEC) rival SFU in Loretto, Pa.
Baker led the Bison with three shot attempts while Lewis and Kaban each contributed two. Keiller made five saves during the match.

Sunday (Oct. 20), Howard will be hosting the LIU Sharks at Greene Stadium. Kickoff will be at 3 p.m.
