Women’s Golf Hosts Lady Bison Invite

Bison set to host nine-team tournament in Baltimore

BALTIMORE (APRIL 9, 2023) - On April 10-11, the Baltimore Country Club will open its doors to the Howard University women's golf team to host the Lady Bison Invitational.
 
The 54-hole event begins at 9 a.m. both days.

TOURNAMENT PREVIEW
 
The A. W. Tillinghast was recognized by LINKS magazine as one of the "100 Most Prestigious Clubs in the World." According to the United States Golf Association, the Baltimore Country Club was one of the original 100 clubs in the country.
 
There will be nine teams competing in the 2023 Lady Bison's Invitational: Howard; Bryant; Georgetown; Delaware State; Mount St. Mary's; Merrimack; Fairleigh Dickenson; LIU and Lehigh.
 
LAST TIMEOUT
 
On April 3-4, sophomore Kendall Jackson (Pearland, Texas) placed seventh overall at the 2023 Ironwood Invitational, hosted by East Carolina University at the Ironwood Country Club (Par-72, 6266 yards) in Greenville, N.C.
 
The Texas native shot 2-under par (70) in round three, including three birdies on the afternoon. During the two-day, 54-hole event, Jackson registered 1-under par (215) with nine birdies and an eagle.
 
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
 
On April 22, 2023, the team returns to action in Daytona Beach, Florida, for the NEC Championships.
