NORFOLK, Va. - The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) announced the 2023 Men's and Women's Indoor Track & Field All-Academic selections Friday afternoon. Honoring 165 student-athletes from the conference's eight member institutions, MEAC sophomore, junior and senior student-athletes with a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average (GPA), as well as transfer student-athletes who have been in residence at the institution for at least one year, are eligible for All-Academic accolades.

The Bison lead the conference with 29 student-athletes earning the accolade after excelling in the classroom.
 
Honorees recognized include Ayoade Adebiyi (Virginia Beach, VA), Jamar Bailey (Bolingbrook, IL), Kaleb Berry (Duncanville, TX), Jermanie Byrd (Miami Gardens, FL), Darian Clyburn (Louisville, KY), Joslyn Crosby (Bossier City, LA), De'ja Dade (DeSoto, TX), Goba Dan-Princewill (Houston, TX), Ashton Daniel (Columbus, OH), Kameron Davis (Miami, FL), Chase Drewery (Waldorf, MD), Kaya Rae Dunbar (Burtonsville, MD), Camille Egbula (Simpsonville, S.C), Kyle Fisher (Duluth, GA), Fredrick Hamilton (Atlanta, GA), Erin Hatcher (Burtonsville, MD), Jasmyn Hunter (Flossmoor, IL), Ja'Tae Joyner (Bowie, MD), Darci Khan (Stockbridge, GA), Julian Lawson (Sewell, NJ), Breanna McDonald (Bethesda, MD), Ezra Monteiro (Sewell, NJ), Cathrina Morris (Auburndale, FL), Nnamdi Olebara (Bowie, MD), Tiffani-Rae Pittman (Bowie, MD), Mikyla Rodgers (South Huntington, NY), Lamaria Washington (Miami, FL), Monika Williams (Denver, CO), and Jessica Wright (Durham, N.C).

The Bison closed out the indoor season February 21st at the MEAC Championships where the women's team took home the gold for the second consecutive year and men's track and field earned runner-up.

The Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) is in its 52nd year of intercollegiate competition with the 2022-23 academic school year.
