WASHINGTON (Feb. 11, 2023) - Howard University Women's Golf team begins its spring slate at the Tulane Classic, presented by Chad Brownstein. The three-day tournament (Feb. 12-14) takes place at the English Turn Golf & Country Club in New Orleans.
Friday's action commences at 10 a.m. (ET)/9 a.m. (CT) with a shotgun start.

TOURNAMENT PREVIEW
The Tulane Classic is being sponsored by Tulane Green Wave golf alumnus Chad Brownstein.
The tournament will also be gifting $25,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of Milne Unit to help support the purchase of supplies like technology and athletic equipment.
The tournament will feature 18 teams, including Howard, Arkansas State, Boston College, Cal Poly, Central Arkansas, Charleston Southern, Chattanooga, Incarnate Word, Iowa, Memphis, Missouri State, Purdue, Rutgers, South Dakota, Southern Miss, Texas El Paso, Tulane and Wichita State.
The Bison will be looking to start off their spring campaign strong after a fall season that featured four top-10 finishes including six in the top 5.
Sophomore standout
Kendall Jackson (Pearland, Texas) finished the fall with two top-10 finishes and a tournament win in the HBCU Invitational (Oct. 15-16).
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
The next tournament is the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate in Hilton Head Island, S.C. (Feb. 27-March 1), hosted by the University of South Carolina.
