WASHINGTON (October 17, 2023) – Howard University men's soccer team returns to Greene Stadium Wednesday (Oct. 18) when they host the VMI Keydets in a nonconference showdown. Match time is slated for 7 p.m.

The Bison (0-9-1) suffered losses to Stonehill (3-2) and LIU (3-1) last week. Howard earned a tie earlier in the season against George Washington. All-NEC selection junior
Bryson Baker (Ellicott City, Md.) has three goals on the year, while team captain graduate
Roy Henderson (Fredericksburg, Va.) has a score and three assists on the season.
VMI
Despite holding a substantial edge in total shots, VMI was defeated Saturday (Oct. 14) by ETSU 3-0 in a Southern Conference game on Patchin Field. The match was the final home game for the Keydets this season. VMI held a 17-8 advantage in total shots, including a 12-3 edge after intermission.
LAST TIMEOUT
Sunday (Oct. 15), HU scored first, but the LIU Sharks responded with three unanswered goals to down HU, 3-1.
Baker tallied his third of the season (12').
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
Sunday (Oct. 22), HU resume league play with Le Moyne College on Alumni Day. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
