WASHINGTON (August 4, 2022) - Mr. Ronald A. Miller, Jr. was a four-year member of the Howard University men's basketball team (2000-04) under head coach Frankie Allen, playing over 100 games for the Bison. In his sophomore campaign, he helped HU earn an 18-13 mark during the regular season while reaching the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Semifinal Round.
 
Mr. Miller is proud member of the class of 2005 where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Secondary Education from Howard. Three years later (2008), he earned his master's of education administration from Trinity University.
 
He is an educator in Prince George's County Public Schools and currently serving as a principal at Chesapeake Math and IT Academy South Elementary, the premiere STEM elementary school in the state of Maryland.
 
Mr. Miller has worked as a diversity consultant, middle school teacher, instructional specialist for digital learning, and elementary, middle and high school administrator. He has facilitated training for fortune 500 companies and supervised and inspired thousands of young students. Furthermore, he has coached teachers on leveraging diversity, inclusion, technology, and instructional and intervention strategies to reach ALL students.
 
Today, Mr. Miller resides in Cheltenham, Maryland, with his wife of 14 years, Monica B. Miller, and two sons: Trenton and Carson.
 
He is a proud member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. and a Prince Hall Mason.
