WASHINGTON (February 13, 2022) – Howard University men's basketball team travels to Princess Anne, Md., to face the Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks in a Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) rematch inside the William P. Hytche Athletic Center. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.

MATCHUP PREVIEW
Monday's showdown will be the 109
th meeting between Howard and Maryland Eastern Shore with the Bison leading the all-time series, 65-43, including this year's victory over the Hawks back on Feb. 5.
In that contest, nine Bison scored despite shooting only 39-percent (23-of-59). Graduate sharpshooter
Kyle Foster (Hampton, Va.) led all scorers with 20 points on 7-of-13 shooting from the floor, including 4-of-9 from downtown.
HOWARD
HU (12-10, 5-3 MEAC) enters Monday riding a four-game win streak. Currently, Howard sits fourth in the MEAC standings with only six league contests remaining before tournament time.
Foster ranks among the nation's best shooters, topping the country with a 49-percent three-point field goal percentage (83-of-168). As of today, the Virginia native is only 37 points away from joining the 1,000-point club.

Elijah Hawkins (Washington) sits among the nation leaders in steals per game (2.5/5
th) and assists per game (6.0/10
th).
Defensively, graduate big man
Randall Brumant (Houston) anchors the back end with 1.4 blocks per game.
MARYLAND EASTERN SHORE
Eastern Shore (8-11, 3-5 MEAC) has split its last two outings since playing the Bison. As of today, the Hawks are sixth in the conference standings.
Zion Styles and Dom London spearhead the Hawks' attack, combining for more than 22 points per game.
LAST TIMEOUT
Saturday (Feb. 12), the Bison extended its win streak to four after knocking off Delaware State, 85-72, inside The Burr.
Four Bison reached double figures in scoring, led by Foster tying a career-best 27 points on 8-for-14 shooting, including 6-for-10 from beyond the arc.
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
On Feb. 19, Howard battles Morgan State in the first-ever NBA HBCU Classic, presented by AT&T. Game-time is slated for 2 p.m. (ET) at the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, Ohio, as part of the NBA All-Star 2022.
