Football Inks Six During National Signing Day

MEAC Champions add depth to the skill positions and frontline

WASHINGTON (December 22, 2022) – Howard University football head coach Larry Scott inked six new Bison during Wednesday's National Signing Day.
 
The signing class featured three linemen and three skill players across four states: Florida; New Jersey; North Carolina and Pennsylvania.
 
Here is more information on the six newcomers in alphabetical order by last name:
 
Anthony Bivines (First Coast H.S./Jacksonville, Fla.) – 6-foot, 185 pounds – Defensive Back
Player Profile
 
Bivines arrives to Howard from the Sunshine State where he was an All-Gateway Conference and All-District recipient. Recently, the Jacksonville native was invited to play in the annual Florida North-South All-Star Game.
 
In the fall, Bivines plans to study Sports Management.
 
Josiah Chenault (Seminole H.S./Sanford, Fla.) – 6-foot-3, 290 pounds – Offensive Lineman
Player Profile
 
Chenault comes to The Mecca after a successful career at Seminole H.S. (Sanford, Fla.), earning All-Conference and All-State honors.
 
He plans to study business in the fall.
 
Emmanuel Doivilus (Vineland H.S./Vineland, N.J.) – 6-foot-5, 240 pounds – Defensive Lineman

Doivilus hails from the Garden State where he was a standout at Vineland H.S. (Vineland, N.J.), receiving All-Conference recognition.
 
The New Jersey product plans to major in physical therapy.
 
Sakae Hall (Christian Calavary H.S./Tampa, Fla.) – 6-foot-2, 305 pounds – Offensive Lineman
Player Profile
 
Hall is the third Bison coming from Florida after playing at Calvary Christian H.S. (Clearwater, Fla.). During his playing career, he racked up All-State honors.
 
Hall looks to study business at The Mecca.
 
Drevon Miller-Ross (Sto-Rox H.S./Pittsburgh, Pa.) – 6-foot, 175 pounds – Defensive Back
Player Profile
 
Miller-Ross arrives to HU from the Steel City where he had a stellar career at Sto-Rox H.S. (McKees Rocks, Pa.), including accolades, such as Conference MVP and All-Conference. According to 247sports.com, the Pennsylvania native turned down multiple FBS offers.
 
Miller-Ross plans to major in business.
 
Se'Quan Osbourne (William A. Hough H.S./Charlotte, N.C.) – 6-foot, 170 pounds – Wide Receiver
Player Profile
 
Osbourne joins the Bison Family from the Tar Heel State where he was a three-year starter at William A. Hough H.S. (Cornelius, N.C.). During his time, he was a three-sport student-athlete while being named football MVP.
 
The honor student-athlete plans to study business at Howard.
