MATCHUP PREVIEWS
The Bison have not played in an official match since their win against the University of Maryland Eastern Shore (Sept 25) due to postponing their match versus Norfolk State (Sept 30) because of inclement weather that was caused by Hurricane Ian.
HOWARD
The reigning Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Champions will be going into this match against the Bears with all eyes on the prize. Since last season, the Bison defeated Morgan State in straight sets, both times. Jennifer Bolden (Los Angeles) continues to lead the team with 122 kills.
Setter
Kayla Diaz (Nanuet, N.Y.) has proven to be a key piece to the Bison success, excelling in three statistical categories: 514 total assists (team-leading); 21 aces (team-high) and 103 total digs.
Libero
Essence Bell (Ocala, Fla.) leads the Bison with 189 total digs.
MORGAN STATE
MSU is currently 2-15 overall (1-2 MEAC) thus far after their straight set loss to crosstown rival CSU (Sept. 30).

Defensive Specialist Alyssa Sampson leads the squad in total digs (196) and aces (22).
COPPIN STATE
CSU currently stands atop of the MEAC with an overall 12-7 record and remains undefeated during conference play (3-0).
Two Eagles have received MEAC Weekly Honors yet again this week. Senior libero Ashley Roman (Isebella, Puerto Rico) earned MEAC Defensive Player of the Week, leading the MEAC in total digs (362) and nationally ranked 20th overall, while Andrea Tsvetanova received MEAC Setter of the Week once again.
