WASHINGTON (January 30, 2022) – Howard University men's basketball team wraps up its four-game road trip in Orangeburg, S.C., against South Carolina State (SCSU). Tipoff is slated for 7:30 p.m.

HOWARD
HU (8-9, 2-2 MEAC) looks to close out the road trip with a 3-1 mark before returning home against Maryland Easten Shore (Feb. 5).
Offensively, Howard tops the league with 79.1 points per game. HU shoots nearly 39-percent from long range, which ranks 14
th in the nation.
Graduate sharpshooter
Kyle Foster (Hampton, Va.) spearheads the Bison attack, sitting second in the country with a 52-percent (62-of-120) three-point percentage.
Five-time Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week freshman
Elijah Hawkins (Washington) continues to wreak havoc on opposing teams, ranking fifth in the nation with 2.5 steals per game.
Redshirt sophomore
Steve Settle, III (Glenarden, Md.) leads the conference, shooting 50-percent (91-of-177) from the floor.
SOUTH CAROLINA STATE
SCSU (10-11, 2-3 MEAC) enters Monday after a tough home loss to Norfolk State, 87-69.
This season, South Carolina State leads the league with a rebounding margin of +5.8.
TJ Madlock and Cameron Jones provide the one-two punch, combining for nearly 24 points per game.
LAST TIMEOUT
Foster scored a career-high 27 points, including the game-winning three-pointer, to lift the Bison over North Carolina Central in OT, 75-74. The Virginia product connected on a corner three with only two seconds left.
On the afternoon, Foster shot 10-of-12 from the floor, including 5-of-6 from long range, while recording a pair of steals.
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
