NORFOLK, VA -- Six Howard University Bison have earned recognition on the 2021 Preseason All-MEAC Football Team, the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference announced on Friday, July 30.
Howard sophomore defensive
Darrian Brokenburr, sophomore defensive lineman
Deion Harry, sophomore linebacker
Christian White, defensive back
Rodney Dennard and senior return specialist
Antoine Murray were selected to the Preseason All-MEAC Second Team.
Brokenburr (Manassas, Va.) - in 2019, Brokenburr recorded 27 total tackles (22 Solo), four tackles for loss, and two sacks as a true freshman.
Dennard (Braddock, Pa.) - recorded 42 total tackles (33 Solos) in 2019 with a career high 3 interception, five pass breakups and a force fumbles.
Harry (University Park, Ill.) - as a true freshman Harry recorded 11 total tackles (8 Solo) and a tackle for loss. During the 2021 Spring Exhibition in two games versus Delaware State recorded 16 total tackles, two and half tackles for loss and two sacks and a force fumble.
Williams (Detroit, Mi) - played in ten games as a true freshman in 2019, recording 47 total tackles (31 solo), six pass breakups, and an interception.
White (Richmond, Va) - as a true freshman played in ten games, recording 33 total tackles (21 solo), recorded two sacks and two force fumbles.
