Q: What is your favorite part about golfing?
A: My favorite part is that there's no hiding in golf. All the responsibility to succeed is on you and when you have success, you feel that much better.
I also enjoy learning how to overcome certain challenges on the course when I'm under pressure.
Q: How did you get started in golf?
A: Growing up, my dad played golf and once I got older, I started to tag along with him and fell in love with the game.
Q: What kept you motivated?
A: The desire to keep going and putting myself in a challenging environment.
Q: If you were not golfing, what other sport would you do?
A: If I wasn't golfing, I would be playing baseball or basketball.
Q: Who is your favorite athlete and why?
A: My favorite athletes are
Steph Curry (3x-NBA Champion),
Tiger Woods (Golf Champion) and the late
Kobe Bryant (5x-NBA Champion) because they've inspired me to attack opportunities to create my own vision and impact the world.
Q: What's your favorite memory at Howard?
A: My favorite memory at Howard was watching
Kanye West (American Rapper) perform 'Sunday Service.'
Q: Plans after graduation?
A: I'm looking to explore new challenging experiences while continuing to build strong relationships.
Q: What or who will you miss at Howard?
A: I will miss all of HU20 being on campus because the energy our class brought was something special. Every time I visit Howard it's one of the first memories that comes to mind.
Q: What advice would you give future Bison?
A: My advice to future Bison is to build your personal relationship with God.
Also, set goals of what you want to accomplish, write those down and be open minded with how to achieve those goals.
Q: Who would you like to thank?
A: I would like to thank God, my family, mentors, and the entire Howard community for helping me build a strong foundation for growth.
