WASHINGTON (October 20, 2021) – Howard University women's soccer team meets Northeast Conference (NEC) opponent Saint Francis (Pa.) for Senior Night Thursday (October 21). Match time is set for 7 p.m. at Greene Stadium.
 
Before the contest, 11 Bison will be recognized for their hard work and dedication to the program.

HU (4-5-2, 3-3-1 NEC) continues its home stand after tying with Navy Monday (Oct. 18), 0-0. Currently, Howard sits tied for fourth in the conference standings with a pair of matches left (vs. Mount St. Mary's, Oct. 24 and at Fairleigh Dickinson, Oct. 31).
 
Freshman Melea Earley (La Mirada, Calif.) continues to rank among the conference leaders in points per match (1.40, 1^st) and goals per match (0.60, 1^st).
 
SAINT FRANCIS
 
Saint Francis (SFU) enters ranked ninth in the conference standings while being a league leader in saves per match (7.23, 2^nd) and assists per match (0.62, 9^th).
 
Senior Corinne Renninger and freshman Lauren Persichetty are tied for fifth among other conference members in game-winning goals, (Renninger-0.22) and (Persichetty-0.15).

Monday (Oct. 18), Howard picked up its second tie of the season against Navy, 0-0. Freshman Kyra Bolden (McLean, Va.) led the Bison with a match-high six shot attempts.
