Smyrna, Del. (October 15, 2021) – Howard University women's cross country team grabbed its second victory of the season, winning the Delaware State University (DSU) Farm Invite, hosted by the Lady Hornets.
Five Bison finished in the top 10, led by DMV native junior
Breanna McDonald (Bethesda, Md.) winning the event with a 20:00.10 mark.
Freshman
Camille Egbula (Simpsonville, S.C.) took second overall, clocking in at 20:08.40.
Fellow classmates
Joslyn Crosby (Bossier City, La.) and
Sherisse Peterson (Philadelphia) finished fourth (20:59.10) and fifth (21:34.90), respectively, while sophomore
Alyssa Mark (Orlando, Fla.) rounded out the top 10, placing 10
th overall (21:59.40).
Coppin State took second place behind HU, followed by DSU.
On Oct. 29, Howard travels to Cary, N.C., for the 2021 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Cross Country Championships.
