Howard Athletics Set to Announce Bison Awards

HU Athletics acknowledges student-athlete’s achievements during the 2019-20 season

WASHINGTON (April 30, 2020) – Howard University Department of Athletics will announce their annual Bison Awards on its social media platforms, beginning Monday (May 4). Student-athletes, coaches, parents and fans can log into their social media accounts and view this year's award winners. Be on the lookout and make sure to use the hashtag #BISONAWARDS2020.

Award winners will be posted through athletics' Twitter (@HUBisonSports), Instagram (@HUBisonSports) and Facebook (HUBisonSports) accounts. The two-week celebration begins with departmental accolades and recognition, followed by team awards.

Men's & Women's Highest Team GPAs
Male & Female Highest Individual GPAs
Men's & Women's Life Skill Awards
Male & Female Iron Bison
Athletic Director award

Due to the cancellation of spring sports because of the coronavirus (COVID-19), the department's 2019-20 Male & Female Athletes of the Year awards will be vacated this year.
