WASHINGTON (April 23, 2020) – Bancroft Gordon was a member of the Howard University men's soccer team where he became an All-American for the Bison and was selected to the Senior Bowl. In 1983, the squad's team captain graduated summa cum laude from The Mecca. He also represented the Jamaican National Team.
In 1983, he decided to purse higher education at Harvard Law School when the professional soccer league unexpectedly folded. Gordon graduated in 1986.
After law school, Gordon worked as an Assistant Corporate Secretary at Freddie Mac and General Counsel of Freddie Mac Foundation. He currently serves as Vice President and Corporate Secretary of Marriott International and a board member of the Maryland Chamber of Commerce.
His continuing contributions to the team's success after Howard show the lasting impact he had on the program's history.
