Box Score WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Senior Charles "CJ" Williams ended his regular-season as Howard University Bison, scoring a season-high 30 points in defeat, falling to Delaware State University 100-88 on Senior night in Burr Gymnasium.

Williams led the Bison in the first half scoring 20 of Howard's 29 points. Despite Williams' output, Howard struggled the offensive side of the ball
combining to shoot 4-of-12 from the floor and committed eight turnovers.

Williams, Nate Garvey, and Wayne Bristol Jr. combined for 47 points and shot 57 percent from the floor in the second half.

The Bison was down 65-37 with 14:00 minutes left in regulation when Howard began to chop away at the lead.  

With two minutes remaining Howard went on a 7-2 run to close the gap 92-84 with 1:01 left in regulation.

Delaware State held on finishing the game on an 8-4 run, escaping with a 100-88 victory to conclude the regular season.

Williams finished with a season-high 33 points shooting 12-of-21 from the floor. Garvey(22) and Wayne, Jr.(19) joined him in double-figures. Liwayne Richardson recorded four blocks giving him seven in the past two games.
