WASHINGTON (December 8, 2020) – Howard University Department of Athletics continued its "Bison 5@5" series where a member from the HU community is asked five questions within five minutes.
 
This week's guest features senior captain Nicholas Turk (Las Vegas) from the men's soccer team, who was interviewed by senior journalism major Arthur Cribbs.
 
Turk has played nearly 40 contests for the Bison while being an outstanding student off the field.
 
Since his arrival at The Mecca, the Las Vegas native has earned numerous academic accolades, including Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Commissioner's All-Academic Team honors twice (2018 & 2019) and Sun Belt Academic Commissioner's recognition after his rookie campaign.
 
Turk is a senior sports management major and first in his family to attend Howard. He chose HU because of its history of black excellence while a chance to play NCAA Division I soccer.
