HU began its 2019 campaign going 1-2 in the annual D.C. Challenge.
Howard knocked off Hartford in three sets, but fell to crosstown rivals American, 3-1, and George Washington, 3-0.

Fola Wilson (Minneapolis, Minn.) were selected to the D.C. Challenge All-Tournament Team.

Monday night's clash will be the first meeting between Howard and Maryland since 2015 where the Terps defeated HU in four sets (14-25, 17-25, 25-19, 17-25).
MARYLAND
Maryland (2-0) enters Monday's showdown unblemished after defeating Austin Peay, 3-0, and Big 12 foe Kansas State, 3-2, in the WolfPack Invitational, hosted by North Carolina State.
Before the year, junior outside hitter Erika Pritchard was named to the 2019 preseason All-Big Ten Team. With this feat, Pritchard is Maryland's first preseason All-Big Ten selection since joining the conference in 2014.
UPCOMING SEASON
On Sept. 6-7, HU heads north to Queens, N.Y. for the Jack Kaiser Volleyball Classic, hosted by St. John's.
Friday (Sept. 6), the Bison meet Columbia and Canisius before wrapping up the weekend against the Red Storm Saturday (Sept. 7).
