Hightower, 2019 SWAC Preseason Defensive Player of the Year, faced nine shots in 94:07 minutes played while collecting four saves in a 1-0 overtime shutout victory over Mount St. Mary's (Md.).

Despite dropping the first two matches against VCU, 5-1, and Charlotte, 2-0, LU enters Monday's showdown picked third in the 2019 Big South Preseason Coaches Poll.
Longwood (0-2) returns a veteran cast, featuring 19 letterwinners and seven starters. Two-time All-Big South honoree Emilie Kupsov leads the Lancers, followed by former Big South Freshman of the Year Carrie Reaver.
