BALTIMORE - Howard women's tennis fell to Morgan State, 4-0, on Saturday. In the first doubles,
Nicole Hutchison and
Christina Joynes were the only Bison to come out with a win. They defeated Jourdan Wallace and Averiana Mitchell.
Kendall Addison and
Yassmine Khiri were downed, 6-1, by Peggy Rooke and Asmara Rose in the number two doubles.
Dominique Jackson and
Aria Ragas dropped the third doubles to Dana Santiago and Oriane Yehouenou.
With no results in two of the singles matches featuring Ragas against Mitchell and Jackson versus Wallace, the Bears took three of the singles. Khiri and Santiago had an unfinished match with Khiri leading.
The Bears improved to 5-11 overall and remain undefeated in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC).
The Bison are now 4-12 overall and 2-2 in the MEAC. They will travel to Delaware State for their last regular season match on Sunday, April 7. First serve is set for 1 p.m.
