Howard's men's tennis fell to Richmond, 7-0, today at their last game of the season held at Banneker Recreation Center.

In singles, sophomore Roger Lyn lost against Matt Fernandez 6-3, 6-1. Junior Cole Gittens went up against Brice Polender, losing 6-3, 6-2. Senior Karim Shokeir was defeated by George Lovitt at No. 3 singles, 6-4, 6-1.

At No. 4 singles sophomore Kyle Martin fell to John Walsh, 6-0, 6-0. Sophomore DeVaughn Blackburn dropped to Joe Nardini, 6-0, 6-3 at No. 5 singles. Junior Sagar Raju was unsuccessful versus Josh Keitelman, 6-1, 6-2, at No.6 singles.  

At the No. 1 doubles Shokeir and Lyn went unfinished in their match against Keitelman and Fernandez.

Gittens and  Raju lost during their match against Lovitt and Walsh, 6-2 at No. 2 doubles.

The Bison finish their season at 1-12 overall and 1-2 in MEAC play. 

The MEAC tennis championships will be held April 25-27 in Norfolk, Virginia.
