WASHINGTON-- The Howard University women's basketball team faces off against the North Carolina A&T Aggies on Saturday. Game time is set for 2 p.m. in Burr Gymnasium.

Howard dropped to 13-10 overall and 6-4 in conference play after losing on the road to Bethune-Cookman, 76-63.
The Bison led 17-11 after the first period but were outscored in each of the next three quarters. They shot just 30.9 percent from the field and 15.4 percent from beyond the arc. Since the start of conference play in January, Monday's loss marked just the third time in 10 games that the Bison scored fewer than 70 points.
Ayonna Williams and
Sarah Edmond were the lone Bison to reach double figures in points with 21 and 10, respectively.
Krislyn Marsh and
Imani Bryant led the rebounding department with nine boards.
GAME PREVIEW
Challenging the fifth-ranked Bison in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) will be the top-seed Aggies. The Aggies have an undefeated record through 10 conference games this year, with a 13-10 record overall.
Saturday's matchup will feature the conference's best offense against its best defense. While Howard leads the conference in scoring (71.7 points per game), the Aggies allow the fewest point total to their opponents (54.5 points allowed per game). These two teams rank second and third in the conference in scoring margin, with the Aggies holding the slight advantage at +4.2 points, compared to +4.0 points for the Bison.
C'coriea Foy and Cinia McCray lead the Aggies in scoring, averaging 12.8 points and 12.6 points, respectively.

SCOUTING THE EAGLES
The Bison struggled with turnovers and came up short, 63-58, to the NC A&T Aggies in a MEAC matchup at Burr Gym on Saturday.
Ayonna Williams led the way with a game-high 22 points, three rebounds, and four assists. Johnson added nine points, four rebounds, and two assists.
Eagles sophomore Kieche White led the North Carolina Central University women's basketball team with 13 points and five assists in a 62-48 MEAC road loss at Norfolk State University.
The Spartans held the Eagles to 27.5-percent shooting percentage and outrebounded them, 49-40.
