WASHINGTON, D.C. --Â Howard University men's basketball returns to the hardwood to face Big South foe Hampton University, Thursday at 7 p.m. for the annual Battle of the Real HU in Hampton, Va.

- Howard will play their final non-conference road game at Hampton.Â
- The Bison will play four December games in Burr Gymnasium (Dec. 14 vs Appalachian State, Dec. 18 vs Regent, Dec. 22 vs Harvard and Dec. 30 vs Penn).Â

- The HU November road swing began Nov. 9 in Washington, D.C., at George Washington and concluded Nov. 26 in Washington, D.C., at American University.
- In between the District games, the Bison traveled to five different cities, flew out of three different airports, logged over 2,435 miles and clocked in 21 hours and 20 minutes of flight time. Â
- Broken Record: Charles "CJ" Williams (Richmond, Va.) broke Howard record for the most career points (1,933) formerly held by James Daniel versus Mount St. Mary's Nov. 30.Â
- The Bison went 0-4 during the Men Against Breast Cancer (MABC) Invitational, Howard fell to Notre Dame, Toledo, Robert Morris, and Marshall.
- Zion Cousins (Upper Marlboro, Md.) has averaged a team-best 5.9 rebounds per game for the Bison.
- Howard was picked to finish sixth in the 11-team MEAC for the 2019-20 season, according to a poll of the leagues head coaches and sports information directors.

Last time out Howard 56, Mount St. Mary's 73
- The Howard University Bison could not sustain an early second-half lead, falling to Mount St. Mary's University, 73-56 Saturday, Nov. 30 evening at Burr Gymnasium.
- Howard's Williams paced the Bison recording 13 points, nine rebounds and breaking HU's All-time career scoring record. Wayne Bristol, Jr. (Upper Marlboro, Md.) recorded 12 points, his second double-figure output in consecutive games.
- The Bison were in striking distance, down 52-51 when the Mountaineers extended the lead after a 10-0 run with 5:52 remaining. That was all the Mountaineer needed as they cruised past Howard.Â

- Hampton leads the all-time series, 40-5.
- Howard fell to Hampton, 89-82 last season during the D.C. Holiday Hoopfest at the Entertainment & Sports Arena in Washington, D.C.
