- Howard plays their fourth consecutive home game, going 1-2 during that stretch.
- Howard Bison took the Harvard Crimson to the brink and fell shy, 60-55 in the waning minute last Sunday.
- Charles "CJ" Williams (Richmond, Va.) continues to score at a rapid pace, averaging 17.9 points a game this season, and eclipsed 2,000 career points versus Harvard.
- Howard won their first game versus Hampton breaking a ten-game losing streak to the Pirates on Thursday, Dec. 5 in Hampton, Va.

- The HU November road swing began Nov. 9 in Washington, D.C., at George Washington and concluded on Nov. 26 in Washington, D.C., at American University.
- Broken Record: Williams broke Howard record for the most career points (1,933) formerly held by James Daniel versus Mount St. Mary's Nov. 30.
- Howard was picked to finish sixth in the 11-team MEAC for the 2019-20 season, according to a poll of the leagues head coaches and sports information directors.

- Williams recorded 18 points and six rebounds while Nate Garvey scored in double-digits, recording a career-high 16 points.
- With three minutes left in regulation, Garvey knocked down another long ball, this time from the wing to close the game 54-52. That was the closest the Bison would get as the Crimson closed the game on a 6-3 run to escape with a 60-55 victory.
- Howard held Harvard to 13.6 percent (3-of-22) from beyond the arc and forced 20 turnovers, converting 18 points off those turnovers. Harvard took advantage of Howard in the paint recording 32 points to Howard's 20. Harvard bench outscored the Bison 32-5.
