ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (March 11, 2018) – Howard University Softball team dropped its final contest at the Lobo Classic with a 11-3 loss against St. Mary's.
With the loss, HU went winless over the weekend (0-5).

Breanna Robinson provided sparks for the Bison attack, each delivering homers in a losing effort.
St. Mary's Bailey Lotz belted a three-run shot to left field and put the Gails ahead early, 3-0.
Top two, Emory responded with a two-run blast and trimmed the deficit down to one, 3-2.
St. Mary's added three more runs and took a 6-2 advantage going into the fourth, but a solo shot from Robinson cut the margin to three, 6-3.
Bottom four, the Gails took control with a four-run inning, 10-3, followed by a game-ending homer from St. Mary's Halle Sullivan, 11-3.
St. Mary's (8-18) produced 11 runs on eight hits, led by Lotz and Sullivan each providing the long ball in the victory.
On March 24-25, Howard (2-21) returns to action in Hampton, Va. where they take on Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Preseason Favorite Hampton in a three-game series. Saturday's doubleheader (March 24) starts at 1 p.m. and Sunday's seven-inning contest begins at noon.
