WASHINGTON (December 20, 2018) – Howard University (HU) football announces the signing of 14 student-athletes to the Bison roster for the 2019 season.
 
"We are pleased to announce the addition of 14 outstanding new members to the Howard University football program," said head football coach Ron Prince. "These young people come from diverse backgrounds and are an excellent representation of their families and high school programs. They hail from seven states and are among the most accomplished student-athletes in their communities."
 
The class of 2023 features standouts from 10 different states across the country including an incoming quarterback, two linebackers, two cornerbacks, two defensive ends, three defensive backs, and four offensive linemen.

"These young men are from some the best high school football programs in their respective states, as embodied by the 15 combined state championships won among them," noted Prince. "These players have experienced winning both on and off the field. We are proud of their achievements and congratulate their families for their successes. They answered the call to come home to Howard and we thank them for their confidence in the HU football program. We look forward to their contributions to the team this fall."
