BALTIMORE (January 6, 2018) – Coach
Nicholas Askew and the Howard University Women's Swimming & Diving team returned to the pool where they faced UMBC and Vermont in Baltimore.
Junior
KaSandra Kaplan won the team's Golden Goggles, HU's most outstanding female performer of the meet, after some strong performances. The Detroit native earned fourth overall in the women's 50-yard freestyle, then came back with a third-place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke.
Freshman
Christian Nickolas took fourth in the women's 3-meter dive, followed by a fifth-place finish in the 1-meter dive.
On Jan. 19, both squads square off against Marymount on Senior Night. The action begins 6 p.m. inside Burr Pool.
