WASHINGTON (January 27, 2018) – Howard University Women's Swimming & Diving Team dropped its regular season finale at Catholic, 186-89.
Juniors
KaSandra Kaplan and
Latroya Pina led the way for HU. Individually, Kaplan won the women's 200 butterfly (2:12.04) and 500 freestyle (5:25.80) while Pina claimed the top spot in 100 (1:10.12) and 200 (2:34.86) yard breaststrokes.
Kaplan and Pina were also part of two winning relay teams. Howard opened the day with a victory in the women's 200-yard medley relay, who consisted of Kaplan, Pina, sophomore
Andreas Weech, and freshman
DeAngela Fobbs.

Summer Lewis ended the night by taking home the 200 freestyle relay title.
Freshman
Nina Parker earned a win in the women's 200 individual medley.
On Feb. 14-17, both squads travel to Athens, Ga., for the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) Championships.
