Ty Grace and the Howard University Women's Basketball team start conference play in Tallahassee, Fla., where the Florida A&M (FAMU) Rattlers await. Tip-off is slated for 6 p.m. inside the Al Lawson Center.

Howard (4-9) enters Wednesday's showdown looking to bounce back from a tough OT loss against Brown, 85-81. HU continues its search for their first road win of the season (0-7). Sophomore
Sarah Edmond leads the Bison in scoring (13.2 PPG), which ranks seventh in the conference. Senior
Tajzhane Dopson paces the squad with 5.1 rebounds per game (RPG) while sophomore
Jayla Myles sits second in the league with 1.8 blocks per contests.
FAMU (2-11) comes in dropping their last four contests, including a 91-55 loss at Alabama. Redshirt juniors Florence Ouattara and Shalaundra Burney-Robinson are the lone Rattlers averaging double-figures, scoring 15.3 PPG and 10.8 PPG, respectively. Senior Shakerrya Morrison, 2017-18 Preseason All-MEAC selection, is another player to watch.

On Dec. 29, HU returned to The Burr and extended its home winning streak after outlasting the Campbell Camels in overtime, 63-61. Freshman
Curstyn Moore led Howard with 13 points and five boards while sophomore
Ayonna Williams flirted with a double-double, finishing with 11 points and nine rebounds in the win.
On New Year's Eve (Dec. 31), the Bison scored a season-high 81 points, but came up short against the Brown Bears, 85-81, inside Burr Gymnasium. Edmond scored a career-high 28 points after shooting 5-of-8 from long range.
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
HU returns home for a pair of league games inside The Burr.
On Jan. 6, the Bison host Bethune-Cookman on Community Day. Game-time is set for 2 p.m.
Two nights later (Jan. 8), Howard renews its rivalry with Hampton in the Battle of the Real HU. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. and Monday's promotion is White Out.
