MATCHUP PREVIEW
HU (3-13) looks to bounce back after a tough loss at Hawai'i, 84-59. Despite knocking off UNC-Wilmington in the Sun Bowl Invitational, 80-75, Howard continues its search for their first true road win (0-12). Coach Nickelberry's bunch conclude its five-game road swing in Tallahassee, Fla. Freshman
RJ Cole (21.6 ppg) and sophomore
Charles Williams (18.4 ppg) account for nearly 60 percent of the team's scoring.
First-year head coach Robert McCullum looks to lead FAMU (1-15) towards their first conference crown since 2007, led by trio seniors Marcu Barham and Desmond Williams and junior Isaiah Martin. Barham is averaging 17.0 ppg while splashing 39 three-pointers. Williams records 15.0 ppg, which is ninth in the league, while Martin leads the MEAC with 38 total blocked shots.
