Brent Leiba and the Howard Women's Soccer team hosts Mississippi Valley State (MVSU) and Alcorn State in Birmingham, Ala.
Friday's match against MVSU begins 7 p.m. (CT)/8 p.m. (ET) on the
SWAC Digital Network.
Sunday afternoon's showdown versus the Braves starts noon (CT)/1 p.m. (ET).

Howard overcame an early deficit to knock off Arkansas Pine Bluff in their conference opener, 2-1.
Kela Gray and
Elexa Pierson each scored a goal in the victory.
For nearly 80 minutes, HU trailed the Grambling State Tigers until a goal from Gray tied the contest with less than 15 minutes remaining. With under 30 seconds left, GSU's Brittany Terry scored the game-winning goal off a long thrown in to down HU, 2-1.
MATCHUP PREVIEW
Mississippi Valley State (3-7, 1-1 SWAC) comes in splitting both conference games. After blanking Alabama State (ASU), the Delta Devils dropped a 1-0 decision versus Alabama A&M. MVSU is led by 2017 Preseason Co-Offensive Player of the Year Laadi Issaka.
Alcorn State (2-3, 1-1 SWAC) also enters the weekend splitting against ASU and Alabama A&M. Alcorn fell against the Hornets, 2-1, but rebounded to knockoff the Bulldogs, 3-1. Redshirt Sophomore Rita Okoro, who earned a preseason first team All-SWAC selection, led the Braves with eight goals and two assists a year ago.
HU (2-7, 1-1 SWAC) looks to get back into the win column. Howard searches for another conference title under Coach Leiba. Defensively, the Bison are led by conference preseason Defensive Player of the Year
