WASHINGTON (September 12, 2017) – After a brief visit in North Carolina, the Howard Men's Soccer team returns home where Central Connecticut State (CCSU) awaits. Wednesday's match is set for 1 p.m. at Greene Stadium.

On Sept. 9, the squad dropped its road contest at Campbell, 3-0.
 
HU recorded four shots, led by 
Nigel Grant with two. 
Joel Cunningham and 
Javauni Garwood each registered a shot in a losing effort.
 
MATCHUP PREVIEW
 
For Central Connecticut State (2-3), they have dropped two straight against Stony Brook and Canisius. Before the season, CCSU was tabbed seventh in the Northeast Conference poll. Last season, sophomore Andres Muriel Albino was named to the All-NEC Second Team and All-NEC Rookie Team.
 
Howard (0-5) remains in search for win No. 1 of the season. Cunningham and 
Andres Gomez lead the Bison squad offensively while sophomore 
Carlos Caro looks to continue his solid play at the goalkeeper position.
