WASHINGTON (November 9, 2017) – Coach Shaun Kupferberg and the Howard University Women's Volleyball team concludes its regular season with the Morgan State University (MSU) Lady Bears at Burr Gymnasium. Match time is set for 7 p.m. on Senior Night.

MATCHUP PREVIEW
 
Currently, the Lady Bears (6-17, 5-5 MEAC) are clinging on to the final playoff spot in the MEAC Northern Division. Despite winning three out of their last four matches, MSU must finish strong in order to reach postseason play.
 
For Howard (13-14, 9-2 MEAC), they have locked up the No. 2 seed in the MEAC Northern Division and awaits its next opponent from the MEAC Southern Division. HU has won three straight and nine of their last 11 contests.
 
LAST TIMEOUT
 
Friday, Howard dropped the first set against Norfolk State, but rallied to win in four (23-25, 25-21, 25-17, 25-18). Seniors Jessica Young and Khaila Donaldson led the way, combining for 23 kills.
 
Sunday, the Bison swept rival Hampton in straight sets (25-17, 25-17, 25-11). Donaldson had a match-high eight kills, five digs, five blocks, and two service aces.
 
THEME
 
Friday's theme is Senior Night where Howard will honor three seniors for their dedication and service to HU Athletics: Donaldson; Young; and Carlise Cardoza.
 
UPCOMING SCHEDULE
 
HU goes to Princess Anne, Md. for the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Tournament (Nov. 9-12). The three-day event will take place at the William P. Hytche Athletic Center.
