WASHINGTON (October 9, 2017) – Howard University Men's Soccer team concludes its brief two-match home stretch with Bucknell. Tuesday night's contest starts 7 p.m. at Greene Stadium.
LAST TIMEOUT
After two 45-minute halves and two 10-minute extra periods, HU and the Appalachian State Mountaineers ended Saturday evening's match in a draw, 0-0, at Greene Stadium.
HU outshot the Mountaineers, 10-7, but were unable to capitalize. Defensively,
Carlos Caro played all 110 minutes and stopped two shots in the draw.
MATCHUP PREVIEW
Bucknell (4-5-2) enter Tuesday's contest looking to bounce back from a 2-1 decision at Holy Cross. This season, the squad is winless away from Lewisburg (0-4-2). Before the season, Bucknell was projected to finish sixth in the Patriot League.
HU (1-10-1) looks to get back in the win column and build momentum as they resume league play. Junior midfielder
Victor Guirma spearheads the Bison attack with three points while Caro has started eight contests between the sticks, compiling a .625 save percentage.
