WASHINGTON (October 7, 2017) – After two 45-minute halves and two 10-minute extra periods, Howard University Men's Soccer and the Appalachian State Mountaineers ended Saturday evening's match in a draw, 0-0, at Greene Stadium.
HU (1-10-1) outshot the Mountaineers, 10-7, but were unable to capitalize. Four different Bison took multiple shots:
Victor Guirma;
Marcus Johnson;
Isaac Mbappe and
Nick Turk.
Defensively,
Carlos Caro played all 110 minutes and stopped two shots in the draw.
Tuesday, the Bison host Bucknell in a nonconference match. The action begins 7 p.m. at Greene Stadium.
