Shaun Kupferberg and the Howard University Women's Volleyball team put their eight-match winning streak on the line with a pair of rematches.
Friday, the Bison host Maryland Eastern Shore with first-place at stake. Match time is 7 p.m. at Burr Gymnasium. Fans can follow the action via

MARYLAND EASTERN SHORE
Maryland Eastern Shore (21-7) brings an unblemished conference record to D.C. (7-0) and Howard's lone loss came against the Hawks in a dramatic five set match in Princess Anne (Sept. 29). Eastern Shore is led by reigning MEAC Volleyball Co-Player of the Week sophomore Iva Vujosevic.
DELAWARE STATE
After dropping their first 13 matches, Coach Whitney Johnson and the Hornets (3-20, 3-4 MEAC) have won three of their last six matches and find themselves in the playoff picture. On Oct. 1, DSU was swept by HU in straight sets, 3-0. Delaware State is led by reigning MEAC Volleyball Co-Player of the Week senior Sabina Szmajduch.
HOWARD
HU (10-13, 6-1 MEAC) rolls into the weekend riding an eight-match winning streak; however, the Bison's last loss came at Maryland Eastern Shore in five sets. Since then, Howard has found its rhythm and picked up numerous victories, including Friday's match versus MEAC Southern Division leading Bethune-Cookman. Senior

Tamia Dockery, reigning MEAC Setter of the Week, spearhead the Bison attack.

Friday, HU extended its winning streak after a big win over Bethune-Cookman in four sets (25-23, 18-25, 28-26, 25-21). Donaldson and Dockery led the attack, each posting a double-double
Sunday, Howard picked up its eighth consecutive victory after sweeping the Coppin State University Eagles (25-11, 25-18, 25-16). HU also swept the season series over CSU, 2-0. Donaldson had a match-high 11 kills, three total blocks and two digs while fellow classmate
Jessica Young and sophomore
Kira Porter each added nine kills in the victory.
THEME
Friday's theme is Dig Pink where fans are encouraged to wear pink. Fans wearing pink will have a chance for a prize.
