Shaun Kupferberg and the Howard University Women's Volleyball team puts its six-match winning streak on the line Friday when conference-leading Bethune-Cookman (B-CU) enters Burr Gymnasium. Friday's showdown starts 7 p.m.
Sunday, the Bison host Coppin State (CSU) in a rematch. First-serve is set for 3 p.m.

MATCHUP PREVIEW
BETHUNE-COOKMAN
Friday's match will not count towards league play; however, a very important contest for both teams. Tuesday, B-CU (8-9) had its four-match winning streak snapped at Florida Gulf Coast. Bethune-Cookman's head coach and Howard Alum Brittany Williams has the Wildcats undefeated in conference play (5-0) and No. 1 in the Southern Division.
COPPIN STATE
CSU (1-21, 1-4 MEAC) comes in after a 3-1 loss against Delaware State Wednesday. On Oct. 8, the Bison swept Coppin State in Baltimore, 3-0. Junior

Jessica Young each recorded a double-double in the victory. CSU has went winless since the last meeting (0-3).
HOWARD
HU (8-13, 5-1 MEAC) has won six straight, including five conference victories. Currently, the Bison are a half-game behind Maryland Eastern Shore in the Northern Division standings. Dockery and senior
Khaila Donaldson, MEAC Preseason Player of the Year, are the heart of the offense.
LAST TIMEOUT
Howard picked up its fifth and sixth consecutive wins over Hampton and Norfolk State.
HU registered a .403 hitting percentage against Hampton. Donaldson recorded a match-high 10 kills while Young and
Kira Porter each posted eight kills in the victory.
Sunday's match versus the Spartans, Donaldson and Young led the way, finishing with 13 kills each. Dockery provided 29 assists in the victory.

Friday night's theme is Alumni Night where Coach Kupferberg and the Bison faithful will retire four jerseys into the rafters.
