WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Howard men's soccer team is set for an action-packed weekend at Greene Stadium. The Bison will host St. Joseph's on Friday at 7 p.m. before welcoming LIU Brooklyn for a 1 p.m. matchup on Sunday.

Howard (1-3) is trying to bounce back after a 1-0 overtime loss to Campbell on Tuesday afternoon. Redshirt keeper Kenneth Hersey tallied nine saves for his team before allowing the game-winner. Through four games, Hersey has a 23 saves and a .767 saves percentage. Freshman Andres Gomez has found the back of the net twice for the Bison, the only player to score.

St. Joseph's heads into Friday's match looking to get its first win of the season. The Hawks (0-3) have won all three meetings with the Bison, including a 3-2 victory in double overtime last season.

LIU has a 2-2 overall record with wins against Army and Bucknell. When the Bison and Blackbirds met last season, the game resulted in a 1-1 draw after neither team could pull away in two overtime periods. LIU leads the all-time series, 5-2-2.
