KENNESAW, GA --- In their first road game of the season, the Howard women's lacrosse team fell to Kennesaw State, 21-4, in Atlantic Sun action Thursday evening at Fifth Third Bank Stadium.
Howard (0-5, 0-3 A-Sun) was paced by freshman
Aria Williams, who pushed her team lead for goals and points to 7 and 8 respectively with a pair of goals against KSU (4-9. 1-2 A-Sun). Senior
Jaymie Cox and sophomore
Taylor Purks also tallied goals in the contest. Redshirt junior
Taylor Gainey and junior
Victoria Lockhart each scooped up a team-high four groundballs.Â
NEXT UP: The Lady Bison continue their A-Sun road slate on Saturday, April 4th with a matchup against Mercer University in Macon, GA. First draw is scheduled for 2 p.m.
