He led the conference in passing (222-of-399 (55.6 percent) for 2,388 yards; 15 TDs , 8 INT) while also finishing among the Top 10 in rushing (847 yards) and in scoring (28 total TDs).

McGhee set the all-time MEAC record for total offense last season, which now sits at 10,168 yards and he also holds the record for passes completed and attempted in a career.

In 43 career games, McGhee completed 731 of 1,296 pass attempts for 7,589 yards and 49 TDs and gained 2,579 rushing yards on 535 carries with 26 TDs.

"Having had an opportunity to meet Greg in person I am very impressed by his intelligence, athletic ability and eagerness to learn and compete," said Lions head coach Jeff Tedford. "He's got some great credentials and I look forward to having him come up here and try to earn a spot on our club."
