WASHINGTON, DC --- The Howard men's soccer team ended its 2015 campaign with a 2-0 loss to the Sun Belt Conference regular season champion Hartwick College Hawks on Saturday afternoon at Greene Stadium.
The Bison finish the season with an overall record of 0-17-2 and 0-5 in the Sun Belt.
Howard and Hartwick (9-5-3 / 5-0 SBC) played a defensively dominated match that was affected by the elements; the result was the lowest total number of shots in a Howard match all season. The Bison's five shots were tied for its third-fewest while Hartwick's seven tries marked the fewest total for a Bison opponent.
Unfortunately for Howard, the Hawks were able to convert on a pair of their rare chances - one in the first half (25') and one in the second (85') - to earn the victory.
The match was
also the final one for five Bison -
Peyton Atteloney,
Warren Dennis,
Sam Howard,
Chika Okegbe and
Anthony Rose.
