Box Score GRAMBLING, LA --- A second half surge by the Howard women's soccer team propelled the Bison to a 5-0 victory over the Grambling State University Lady Tigers on Sunday afternoon at the GSU Soccer Complex.
Howard (9-7, 5-3 SWAC) was led by the trio of sophomore forward
Kela Gray, sophomore forward/midfielder
Whitney White and senior forward
Rasheeda Ansari. Gray and White each scored a pair of goals while Ansari added another. Gray's mult-goal effort was her third of the season while White accomplished the feat for the second time in 2015.
The Bison led Grambling (2-7, 2-4 SWAC) 1-0 at halftime before exploding for four goals in the final 45 minutes of play.
