Box Score PHILADELPHIA, PA --- The Howard men's soccer team lost its sixth consecutive contest, a 1-0 defeat at the hands of the Saint Joseph's University Hawks, on Wednesday evening.

Senior goalie Eric Hamilton was able to stop four shots on the evening.

Howard (0-6) played Saint Joseph's (3-1-1) to a scoreless first half despite the Hawks taking eight shots in the period. The Bison kept up their efforts until the 68th minute, when a Howard yellow card allowed SJU to set up a free kick 20 yards out. Hawks junior Mark Colville sent a pass into the box and senior Mike Glazer, headed it into the lower-right corner of the goal.

Howard will play its next game against Bucknell University on Saturday, September 13. The "Battle of the Bison" will kickoff at 2 p.m.
