WASHINGTON, DC --- The 2014-15 Howard Athletics year will begin in earnest on Friday, August 22nd as the Lady Bison women's soccer team travels to Lexington, VA to face the Keydets of Virginia Military Institute (VMI).

Howard brings back 14 returners from last season's 6-7-2 team that will look to lead the Lady Bison to greater heights.

The 4 p.m. meeting between the two schools will be their seventh all-time matchup, with Howard winning last season's contest, 2-0. Seniors Treschelle Gibson-Serrette and Kelsi Bobbitt scored a goal apiece in that victory.
