Volleyball To Compete In Providence College Friars Classic

WASHINGTON, DC --- The Howard University Volleyball team will look to return to its winning ways over the weekend as the team travels to Rhode Island to take part in the Providence College Friars Classic.

Howard will be one of four teams in the tournament, along with fellow MEAC conference member Morgan State, St. Francis Brooklyn, and the host Friars.

The Lady Bison will open the ninth installment of the tournament with a matchup against Morgan State on Friday, September 20 at 5:00 PM. The team's final two matches of the tournament will come on Saturday, September 21 - a rematch against St. Francis Brooklyn at 11:00 AM and a first season meeting against the host Friars at 3:00 PM.
